They follow the usual bullshit diatribes that MSNBC allows Pat Buchanan, Tucker Carlson and Joe Scarborough to voice for the Republican party or Fox Noise allows Carl Rove and every other talking head with a hamster in it to voice like “Oooohh Wait until we hit him with Jerimiah Wright or Bill Ayres.” They are the same type of witless mutterings you heard from the pathetic duo paired with Marcy Wheeler on Michigan TV a couple weeks ago.

It intrigues and delights me that all of these idiots don’t seem to remember the bullshit that continues to take place with George Bush and the House Republicans at this moment as to vetos, and the millions of other issues to attack them for.

Obama is a wee bit too kind, for saying someone lost his bearings assumes they were there in the first place. Or, rather, that they were the principled bearings of a man committed to doing what he felt was right, not what he felt would further him politically.

I notice that the drip of stories about McCain helping out his wealthy donor-constituents is starting, which is trouble for him if people figure out that the campaign-finance maverick image covers Mccain’s day-to-day typical GOP donor backscratching.

Of course, actual reporters would need to follow up…

The Obama campaign is also very aggressively opening new offices in battleground states. The million volunteer goal is very attainable as well. The Democratic party will not believe what will be constructed to promote it, and the Republican party will not be able to cope with it.

I thought “bearings” was such a great choice of words. Doesn’t exactly mean “off your rocker,” but close and nicely amiguous. I heard Hannity ranting about the word, ageism, etcetcetc. for the little bit of time he could take from his rant of the last, Oh, 6 weeks of comment and innuendo about Wright and Ayres, almost without really saying anything. And now, he is going after the new Obama minister whom he will define as not nearly as controversial as they want us to believe. He is such a good rep. of the trash and irrelevant slurs the Dem will face.

It is interesting that CNN is running a long AP article detailing Cindy’s wealth. Also interesting is that the story does not come up when I search for it using the Yahoo News search engine. The article isn’t the best, but at least it’s a start. For example, it does cover the use of Cindy’s plane by the campaign but doesn’t explain that the reimbursement for use of the plane is far short of what it should be.

As for the bearings, I’m still laughing from the comments on Eli’s post last night on Lieberman’s quote about checking McCain’s bearings. Anyone who hasn’t read that yet should take the time.

Can you feel a little soft crater in the center of the mass? This is a cat and I can see the area of the bite because the hair has come away. She’d be a pretty sick kitty by now if this had been a brown recluse. This is Florida so lots of crawling critters and the position of the wound is perfect for a bug on floor bite.

Well I can just tell you after 8 years of doing ER med and another bunch of them seeing patients in an office day in and day out, that Brown Recluse bit people can walk in without being septic or sick except for the local pain.

There is a rich body of work and votes for failed Bush policies, pandering to the religious right, massive flip flopping and continuation of horrendous Bush policies as targets for us to use to attack McCain.

Don’t recall the commenter, but someone was in a bar in Indiana the night of the primary as the results were coming out. Commenter described seeing a table of lawyers who worked for Obama’s campaign looking at the loss, not throwing a fit but just finishing up and walking out to take care of the next contest.

Those are the people who would scare me, if they were my opponents. They will simply keep coming at you, and if they decide to turn that determination against McSame already, my hunch would be to let them do it.

I’d like to know more about the Obama campaign workings, because it just might be one of the best in memory. (No stirring insight there, I know.) Hope somebody writes a book, when it’s over. I also think that the way the Obama campaign has been run speaks very well indeed for the candidate.

You know if the Republican machine really thought that was a threat, you’d think they would have mounted an initiative to protect McCain. But since that initiative would have to be an amendment to the Constitution unless the federal appeallate courts weigh in–and maybe the Supremes will but they are going to have to move fast, I guess it plays out in the Court.

Law reviews have been quick to point out that the Constitution does not define “natural born citizen” anywhere the term is used. Off the top of my head, I can remember Section I of Article II and the Twelth Amendment.

Guy across the street from me was in Hillary’s class at Yale law school and Hillary was a member of every Weathermanesque group on the planet. The lawfirm she first worked for in California made a career of defending Panther’s and Weatherman–it was Hillary’s kind of firm.

I don’t have any problem with her doing that kind of law when first out of law school–she had flunked the D.C. bar so she was in a research capacity until she finally passed the Arkansas bar–she is so “tough” she never had the guts to go back and conquer her flunked D.C. bar demon but never mentions the fact nor does Jerilyn Merritt.

The problem though is having worked for that type law firm she tried (and failed miserably) to smear Obama using the chronic Republican war cry of “guilt by casual association.”

There was never any mention by the Clintons or their cheerleaders on any blog of a parade of scores of people who were not only associated with the Clintons as an acquaintance but with whom they did profitable business like the secret contributors to the Clinton library and now the funders of her whacky racist dead woman walking campaign which is pathetic but fun to watch–no one deserves it more.

Ultimately there was a case that reached the Supreme Court in the 1890’s regarding the terminology “natural born citizen”. It was resolved that an individual was a “natural born citizen” as there were two manners to acquire that status a) birth in a state or territorial possession of the United States, b) birth by one or both parents who were US citizens. There was a “non-natural born citizen” status as well. That was to be a “naturalized” citizen.

This dispute covered the original Citizenship Act in 1792 (which defined natural born citizenship), the bill that replaced it in 1796 (that didn’t), and a third Act in 1802 that resumed the original’s wording.

Personally this is pretty much indisputable.

He already has them and I already worked to help him get them. They just are afraid to announce until June 3.

None of us who gave money to Obama want a cent to go to retiring Hillary’s debt. Let the hundred million dollar enterprise that makes money in illicit energy deals pay the debts of her campaign that her contributors refuse to pay.

I called them trailer trash for these reasons:

1) They have done illicit deals and they are hiding them by refusing to reveal their 2007 returns (Obama did) and they refuse to reveal the library contributors. The American people have every right to them given Clinton’s failed assertion she is the most electable candidate for President.

2) They sold pardons to people who were criminally convicted. I fully believe there should be more pardons in every administration and regret they are so preferentially dolled out by every President and Pardon office at DOJ under every administration. However, the Clintons outright sold them. That’s my definition of trailer trash. I don’t see you refuting that they sold the Rich and the Rodhmam brother’s pardons for which they both received six figure legal fees.

3) I haven’t heard how you interpret Clinton’s recent racist commentsthat the US won’t elect Obama because of the melanin in his skin. Correct me if I’m wrong but that is melanin in his skin that differentiates it from Hillary’s whiter looking skin.

But Clinton banked on the fact that imbeciles will be in the remaining six states–the same ones who believe Obama’s fake Muslim background is dangerous (as if Muslim faith were dangerous in and of itself)in numbers enough that don’t understand that the bullshit she flings on the campaign could never pass Congress.

Clinton fails to mention that she has done nothing substantive to encourage higher gas milage because of her oil lobbyist contributions.

Her sweeping dismissal of all economists (not one supports her pandering) including her most devout fanboy Paul Krugman of the NYT is laughable. She isn’t going to “Put her lot in with economist” but is going to put her lot in with imbeciles. She wants to increase gas guzzling demand when there aren’t even refineries to meet it if it passed Congress/Bush signed it which of course it couldn’t/he wouldn’t and the dems haven’t overcome a significant veto yet.

In no less than 5 days, the NYT has published two editorials denouncing her bigotry and hypocrisy pandering the gas tax relief bullshit that are pure buyer’s remorse.
