WOOLSEY: Yes. Yes. I think the last thing we ought to do now is to start talking about ceasefires. This is a very serious challenge from Iran, and we need to weaken them badly, and undermining the Syrian government with air strikes would help weaken them badly.
Update: My bad, I should have made sure to make clear that this is James Woolsey, former CIA Director under President Clinton and a man who is on the board of virtually every alphabet group/think tank whose mission it is to boldlly go where only stupid men have gone before--preemptive war.

It is bad enough to want to bomb Syria, but somehow when I glanced at the headline, my eyes read “McCain wants to bomb Pennsylvania.” (Yeah, I am pretty good at Word Jumble)The worst of it is that my poor brain is not surprised at anything that happens in the GOP world.

Conyers move doesn’t even amount to a good bluff. Even if impeachment started TODAY, with Pelosi firmly against we’d be lucky to get it on to the house floor by November.
And Bush would claim executive privilege on everything. When we take it to court, the loser appeals all the way to the Supreme court. Win or lose, Bush is well out of office by then.
I think Conyers letter is on a roll in the executive bathroom by now.
