No matter, that as Marcy points out, Bush's family profited from doing business with the Nazis. Nope. History only matters if you're a Democrat and especially if you're African American. Not rich, white and Republican.

But I digress. Now onto the "Independent Democrat." Joe Lieberman joined Bush's smear from earlier today, when Bush compared Sen. Obama and Democrats in general to appeasers in front of the Israeli Knesset. Not shocking when one considers Lieberman's record as of late.

The pattern emerging is simply too clear to ignore. House Minority Leader Boehner, Bush, Lieberman, all have now smeared Obama for being weak on "protecting Israel." This is meant to appeal to two important voting groups 1) Jewish voters living in Florida, New Jersey, Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania and 2) Evangelicals who are suspicious of McCain and even turning on President Bush, and are needed to turn out in large numbers in the fall if McCain is to win and President Bush is to "protect his legacy."

Remember that Israel must be controlled by Jews for The Rapture to occur, so any weakness on Israel = weakness on The Rapture. You should expect to hear a lot more of these attacks on Obama as the campaign becomes increasingly ugly, and McCain denies he has any connection to his funders and supporters perpetrating these kinds of smears (or just barely disavows the statements of the more prominent ones like Lieberman).
