That would be my bet. Notice how he is adamant about having no interest in the VP job but much more coy about other positions in an Obama Administration.
After the Bush years, we'll need someone with Edwards's integrity and respect for how the law can protect even those without their own yachts at AG.

Howie’s on this as well, with a coupla great guest posters.
I’ve been saying this for months.
Given Edwards’ antipathy toward the
Murder by Spreadsheet crowdHealth Insurance Companies, I can see a lot of good coming out of this. How about Howard Dean in the cabinet and Edwards at the head of the DNC?
Seems like a good place for both of them, and gives Edwards a way to promote his anti-poverty agenda from a grassroots perspective.
I’ve been thinking Edwards would make a great AG since he dropped out of the race. Then I thought that Elizabeth Edwards would be such an asset on the Supreme Court! Would that preclude John from being AG? We are fortunate to have a lot of talented and decent folks to staff the government positions that have been besmirched by idiot sycophants the past few years.
Given Edwards passion for the poor, why not Health, Education and Welfare?
I really like the idea of Edwards as AG. But then who should be Soliciter General?
And given the advanced age of the Supreme Court members, as well as much of the federal judiciary, Team Obama had best get their judicial vetting strategy set up.
