Subsequent editions of the liveblog will be at Cliff Schecter's Campaign Silo. Come on over and say hi!

6:50 PM: Terry McAuliffe goes on Fox from Louisville, KY at 5:14 PM to tell viewers that "Hillary Clinton wins Florida, Obama doesn't win it today." Ditto Ohio. I guess Bill Clinton came in third in '92 behind Ross Perot and George Bush Sr., because that is where he was in many of the polls at this time back then.

Oh right, he won. Terry, Terry, Terry. I like ya man. But when primaries end and the party unites, things change. I just can't buy
this argument. And I live in Ohio.

So, um, I guess that "fragile ceasefire" is over?

Here is video:

7:06 PM: Kentucky has been called for Clinton by MSNBC. She is up 51% to 46% with 16% of the vote in.

Hillary won voters over 85 with 78% of the vote. If you drink Sanka, you voted Hillary. She also won rural whites and non-college whites by a similar margin.

West Virginia II: Electric Boogaloo

7:11 PM: Over at Fox, Brit Hume says Obama ain't seen nothing yet and says sarcastically that the "big bad Republicans" will do worse to him than the Jeremiah Wright controversy. He seems to relish it. I think I just saw a little bit of blood drip out of his mouth.

Fred Barnes likes John F. Kennedy. Obama is not that tough. Of course Fred doesn't mention that if we had listend to his ideological bedfellows of that day, such as Bombs Away LeMay, we would have just bombed them and Russia would have responded with nukes. Oops.

22% is in on Fox - Hillary up 54% to 43%

7:17 PM Carl Cameron reminds us that the RNC will attack Obama. OK. Also he reminds us that McCain is attacking Obama for being soft on Cuba. I am guessing that is one of the few countries that doesn't have a lobbyist on McCain's staff.

Brit Hume just reminded us that lobbyists are good people too. He is searching for equivalence with Obama on this. Good luck.

27% of the vote in per Fox, 56% to 41% Hillary lead

7:24 PM: Roland Martin points out on CNN that Obama is pivoting for the general election. "Resting your stars for the playoffs." Seems somewhat accurate. Alex Castallanos is talking about how to appeal to white working-class voters. He should know. He used to make the kind of racist ads for Jesse Helms that would make Karl Rove blush.

7:36: Sorry, my crappy laptop shut down. Finally I hear someone state the obvious about whether Dems for Hillary will come home for Obama. Paul Begala pointed out that 51% of McCain Republicans said they wouldn't vote for Governor Bush in 2000. And they didn't. Which is why George W. Bush never became President.

7:38: MSNBC - Chuck Todd is smart. Nothing more to add. He is one of the smartest political dudes on tv.

7:41: Bob Cesca says it's now 58% to 43% Hillary-Obama in KY. And he's smart. They let him write for the top slot at The Huffington Post. So even though I haven't seen it yet, I am going with Bob on this.

7:47: Per Fox Hillary up 57% to 40%. Back on MSNBC, Lisa Caputo, Hillary supporter, says that the whole process has to play out. I may be crazy, but I think it has. She also brought up "values voters." Who are these people and what do they value? Does anyone actually call themselves a "values voter?" Or is it just another Mark Penn creation like "office park dads" or "one-legged Uzbeki mountain climbers."

7:58: Brit Hume just cracked a smile. Seriously, I think I might have seen teeth. Now O'Reilly is on. It's Laura Ingraham! Awesome! On cue my 19-old just ran his truck into the entertainment center right below the tv. It's a sign. I'm turning the channel.

8:03: Chris Matthews just said John McCain has been "beaten around by the Republican Party like an old blanket." Was it waterboarding, though? Because that doesn't count as torture.

55% - 62-34 Hillary

8:09: OMG Bob Cesca is brilliant! Alex Castellanos really is Robert Goulet!

8:12: Hillary is about to speak! First, Terry McAuliffe is "firing up the crowd" according to Tim Russert. I hear he stole his routine from Chris Rock.

8:14:Hillary is speaking. She made a very classy statement about Teddy Kennedy. Our prayers are with him of course. Ok now we go into the "I am winning the popular vote thing." Um, if you run in a contest, like let's say Michigan, and your opponent's name is not on the ballot, that is only a win in Waziristan.

8:22:Cesca dug up one of Goulet's greatest hits! Watch Castellanos in all his racist glory:

8:25: I got an email with Obama's April FEC Report. Wow:

New donors in April: 200,000

94% of contributions were under $200

93% of contributions were $100 or less

77% of contributions were $50 or less

52% of contributions were $25 or less

Number of donors to the Obama campaign overall at the end of April: 1.475 million

Number of contributions given: 2,929,000 million

Average donation: $91

8:35: Laura Ingraham is having a sisterhood moment. She wants Hillary to stay in the race forevah and evah! I am sure that's comforting to Hillary.

Per CNN: 85%

65% Hillary
31% Obama

8:36: Knocked Up is on HBO. But I'd rather be watching Candy Crowley.

8:44: Wolf Blitzer reminds us that the polls are not closing in Oregon for 2 hours and 15 minutes. Could they have picked two primary states that closed their polls further apart?

8:48: 90% - Hillary 65% Obama 30%

8:50: It's John McCain's bedtime

9:07:In the Kentucky Democratic primary for the U.S. Senate nomination:

Lunsford 268,208. 51%
Fischer 178,957. 34%

It's looking like Lunsford will be the nominee. That high-pitched noise you just heard is Mitch McConnell getting gaseous. For once he will have an opponent with the resources to fight back against his smears.

9:15: If I never hear the phrases "blue-collar voter" or "white working-class voter" again it will be too soon. We need a new obsession for rich media elites. Can we bring the Macarena back?
