The Washington Post now reports that the man columnist Robert Novak hit with his Corvette is 86-year-old Don Clifford Liljenquist, who is homeless. Is he the same guy who wrote a centennial play about Iowa in the 1940s?
Was that a playwright on Novak’s hood?By: John Gorenfeld Thursday July 24, 2008 2:45 pm |

How is the victim doing, anyway? What about those teevee news reports that he was in a cast, or two casts?
And has the Metropolitan Police made a statement yet about Novak’s special treatment for felony hit & run?
Rich Republican hits homeless guy and tries to get away with it. Must the homeless suffer just because they’d run out of ‘conservative Republican caught in sex scandal’ cliches to bring to life?
Great find, John. It is definitely the same guy! OMG! How ironic.
Reports are he’s doing fine and inspired by knowing who it was that hit him. Claims it makes a great story.
